Objective of STM is to stimulate technology transfer in Romania. Based on a contract with Steinbeis in Germany, STM has the right to develop the network by founding Steinbeis-Transfer Centers as legally dependent units of the STM.

STM is the legal frame for Steinbeis Network Romania. It is also the service provider for foreign enterprises which are interested in doing business in and with Romania. Consultancy services for Romanian enterprises are provided by STC Bucharest (Steinbeis Transfer Center Innovation Management, Bucharest). Our Transfer Centers at Romanian universities focus on technology transfer but also work in international projects with foreign partners from research sector and industry.

To be known: our Transfer Centers in Romania follow the principles of Steinbeis Network in Germany and are different from Danube Transfer Centers.
