Steinbeis Team at IME 2021

Frankfurt, 08./09.09.2021: Project promotors and investors met at Investment Management Exhibition (IME), a two-day event of a special kind. IME is a symbiosis of conference and exhibition – and especially noteworthy in times of pandemic, an event with personal meetings.

Aim of the event is to promote economic and social partnerships, increase regions` competitiveness and enable networking between government bodies, businesses and international financial institutions. Investment opportunities were presented to international investors. Networking is unfolding on level of cities, regions and countries with individual entrepreneurs for company relocation and attracting foreign direct investment to special economic zones.

Special attention was given to hydrogen subject because of its increasing importance and its potential to help in building a sustainable environment friendly economy.

Steinbeis was represented at IME by Jurgen Raizner (STC director) and Roxana Boboruta (project manager). As speaker at the first day of IME, Jurgen Raizner offered the international audience an insight on how to do business in Western Balkans and Eastern Europe. This pannel was moderated by Mr. Gunther Fehlinger, Secretary General CEE – BC. Other speakers at this pannel discussion:

• Prof. Milan Krajnc, nominated for the Nobel Prize in Economics 2021, founder of Dynamic Leadership Model, full professor of Public Management at the European Center for Peace and Development, the University of Peace established by the United Nations, professor of Economic Sciences and representative of Al – Khalifa Business School in the Principality of Monaco.
• Mrs. Zoe Harries, Senior Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Special Economic Zones Advisory
• Mrs. Cornelia Frank, Head of Department International Economic Cooperation and Location Marketing at Baden–Wuerttemberg International

On the second day of IME, Juergen Raizner shared his international consultancy experiences at pannel discussion “How investors think and act”.

During networking sessions, business connections were established especially with Republic of Kosovo and Switzerland. Further steps of collaboration were agreed with Ms. Rozeta Hajdari, Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade in the Republic of Kosovo.
