Steinbeis Centers in Romania
Steinbeis Transfer Centers (STCs) see themselves as subcontractors – an “extended workbench” providing key development know-how. Working on a freelance basis or directly on the client’s premises, teams improve standard processes and input with new know-how. In the field of research, we take on assignments with clear tasks to be addressed. Our portfolio ranges from the optimization of products, processes and systems to the integration of emerging technology into existing applications and even completely new developments.
Based on a contract with Steinbeis in Germany, STM has the right to develop the network by founding Steinbeis Transfer Centers as legally dependent units of the STM.
Steinbeis provides a framework for all kinds of people working at a university or research establishment, enabling them to become entrepreneurs in ways that work in harmony with their full-time job, but also allowing them to apply their specialist knowledge directly to business activities. Collaboration based on close partnership – with universities or research establishments – is extremely important.
